I’m creating a schedule for myself that I can follow while working on the project so I can stay on track. With past projects, such as the sound project, I have struggled with timing and getting everything done right. This project is very important, and I want to make sure I do it right and as best as I can so I think this schedule will help me a lot.

Week One (1/29-2/2)

·      Research

·      Film openings

·      Two genres

 

Week Two (2/3-2/9)

·      Research

    o   Film openings

    o   Opening credits

·      Plan

    o   Movie plot

    o   Character background

 

Week Three (2/10-2/16)

·      Research

    o   Media theories

·      Plan

    o   storyboard

Week Four (2/17-2/23)

·      Plan

    o   Location

    o   Actors

    o   Props

    o   Costumes

    o   Lighting

Week Five (2/24-3/2)

·      Production

    o   Start filming

    o   Record any voice overs needed

    o   Record foley sounds

Week Six (3/3-3/9)

·      Creative critical reflection

    o   #1 question for CCR

·      Post production

    o   Edit two versions

    o   Find/create more foley sounds

Week Seven (3/10-3/16)

·      Editing

    o   Finalize edits

    o   Pick best version

·      Creative critical reflection

    o   Research for #2 question of CCR post

    o   Research for #3 question of CCR post

    o   Research for #4 question of CCR post

    o   Edit and review CCR

 

Week Eight (3/17-3/25)

·      Finish any last-minute changes if needed

·      Review film opening and CCR

 

I’m going to try my best to stick to this schedule but if I come across any unexpected problems, I will adjust this schedule if needed.
